The purpose of the role is to act as a field-based engineer with a specifier territory focusing on medium-sized accounts.

\< Maximise the sales potential of Hilti products and services through specification with selected customer groups and projects through architectural specifications.
< Provide engineering coverage from design to construction to architectural practices.
< Provide engineering support and coverage to customers to gain specifications, through providing a value engineering service and delivery of CPD seminars on key topics for architects. Ensure effective communication to and active involvement with the building envelope (BE) and other sales teams for strong conversion.
< Work with the local global and project engineers in the project management processes of the coverage area to ensure a proactive approach to architects.
< Establish and maintain strong working relationship with the BE region for business opportunity steering.
< Achieve a good balance of specifying customer coverage, sales support and project coverage.
< Provide technical support and training to the company’s personnel and customers, to ensure the delivery of a high quality engineering support service at all times.
< Plan and prioritise all activities to ensure optimum use of time and cost.

Produce all records and reports to the required standard and in a timely manner.
< Carry out all quality control and risk avoidance duties as required in a timely and professional manner, to maintain the integrity of the company
\< Graduate degree in Architecture or Civil, Structural Engineering
< Experience in specification sales to architects
< Has a good level of knowledge of the construction industry, and the design & construction process with all relevant technical disciplines associated with Hilti applications/products.
< Willingness to learn and concentrate on the following product lines: Eurofox, firestop, fixings, Hilti anchor channel.
< Ability to communication clearly and effectively
< Project management skills
< Strong commercial skills
