About The Role

To provide business and functional leadership in the translation of customer needs into business and functional specifications for large size/complexity/system risk projects ensuring customers' business needs are met. To contribute to the company, department and tribe strategy by integrating a broad range of ideas regarding business needs. To lead the relation with the business stakeholders in order to improve their business processes, manage their expectations and meet their needs. As part of Agile, to be the business advisor and key partner of the product owner.

Education

University degree in Economics, Management, Sales Engineer or equivalent.

Post-graduate in Management / Marketing / MBA or equivalent is an asset

Experience

Typically requires 8 to 10 years' experience, preferably in similar roles and/or industries

Experience in the Telecommunication environment is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

01 . Lead and plan the definition, analysis, validation and maintenance of business (and functional) requirements and processes for large size/complexity/system risk projects by working in close liaison with customers and other departments and in line with evolving business demand.

02 . Validate proposed solutions to business challenges in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with functional and technical solutions.

03 . Provide relevant business and functional knowledge during all phases of the implementation and resolve unique and complex business problems, recognizing technical constraints and applying the 'ADOPT' principle.

04 . Produce and maintain conceptual models and business processes in accordance with the adopted methodology.

05 . Conduct presentations/demo's on process enhancements and/or alternatives. Approve and conduct training session on business solutions in order to facilitate the adoption by the end-users.

06 . Understand technological trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to guide and advise business stakeholders accordingly.

07 . Lead and plan the business process (re)design and documentation when needed.

08 . Interface with the product owner and the other squad members (typically software engineers and testers) in order to secure the delivery for the business stakeholders.

09 . May in line with established procedures, organize, co-ordinate and control the recurring output of one or several teams of specialists in the area. May be consulted on people - and department management issues. Assist less senior business analysts in resolving problems.

10 . Supports business users on deployed/live business processes and tools.
