  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About Our Client

Job Description
  • Manage and oversee the full set of General Ledger (GL) functions for the India market, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with company policies and local accounting standards (India GAAP/Ind AS).
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports as required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide audit schedules, documentation, and resolve any audit queries.
  • Work closely with the India market stakeholders to ensure proper understanding of financial data and provide guidance on accounting matters.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including streamlining processes and implementing best practices.
  • Support the finance team with any ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects.


The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA certification is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in GL accounting, preferably within a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards (India GAAP/Ind AS) and local regulatory requirements.
  • Experience handling the India market is a plus.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools like Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience or knowledge of tax system and accounting practices in India markets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English
