Heating Air Conditioning Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the HVAC team, including assigning tasks, scheduling work, and ensuring the timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor and inspect HVAC installations and repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot complex HVAC problems and provide guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing and resolving issues.

Heating Air Conditioning Supervisor Required Skills

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical or vocational HVAC program is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with at least 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential HVAC systems.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to manage and guide a team of HVAC technicians.
  • Valid HVAC technician license or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
