ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Shah Alam Office. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating with various aspects and relevant stakeholder of the product development process to ensure the successful launch of new electrical appliances that meet customer needs and industry standards.
•Project Management: Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects related to electrical appliance manufacturing. You will work closely with different departments to ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to budget, quality and safety standards.
•Design and Development: To involved in the design and development of new electrical appliances, including developing specifications, creating CAD drawings with integration of AI (Artificial Intelligence Software), and selecting appropriate components and materials. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the design meets industry standards and regulations.
•Testing and Validation: Responsible for testing and validating electrical appliances to ensure that they meet performance, reliability and safety requirements. This may involve conducting laboratory and field tests, analyzing test data, and making necessary adjustments to improve product quality.
•Supplier Management: Responsible for managing relationships with suppliers of components and materials for electrical appliances. This may involve negotiating contracts, managing delivery schedules, and monitoring supplier performance.
•Documentation and Reporting: Responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, design documents, test reports, and other technical documents. You will also be responsible for preparing regular progress reports and presenting them to senior management.
•Continuous Improvement: Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and product innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and drive innovation in electrical appliance manufacturing.
TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
•Minimum Degree of equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
•Experience with CAD / INVENTOR software would be advantageous.
•Knowledge of ISO 9001 /ISO 14001 and regulations pertaining to electrical product safety/performance requirement (IEC/MS Standard)
•Knowledge and experience in Designing tool DFM and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA & PFMEA).
•At least 2 year(s) of related working experience.
•Experience in technical details and necessary project documentation on product/process applications, and thereby ensuring the optimal implementation of new product development process.
•Good in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia at negotiation level.
•Possess good problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
•Must be able to work independently, structured and systematic and work as a team with cross-function department.
•Good in mechanical design 3D & 2D software with AI platform integration e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, Solid works & etc.
•Good in Microsoft Project Schedule and Adobe Illustrations and equivalent.
•Good in computer literature (MS Office Suite).
•Experience in Project lead and execute on New Product Development for KME sales market.
•Willing to travel between Headquarter (at Shah Alam) and Factory (at Sekinchan) on a business need basis.
