As the Head of Emerging Channel, you will be leading a Sales team within the Organized Trade and Local Chain Stores Channel. You will be responsible for executing sales and be involved in market development activities towards achieving targets & objectives established by the company. Other roles and responsibilities are as below:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the brand optimal Numeric & Weighted Distribution for both channels
- Ability to guide the team towards selling healthy category mix to maximize profitability.
- Possess SELL OUT mindset approach
- Shelf Share %, In House Share%, store mapping competent for core categories
- Initiate forward / pre planning with BPs (Business Partners) Joint Business Planning
- Conduct and lead the team in Quarterly Business Review (QBR)
- Competent in interpreting GFK data points and ability to grasp gaps and opportunities and convert to actionable items
- BP recruitment exercise know how
- Qualities of a leader, positive attitude, self-motivated, willingness to learn and has the ability to prioritize.
- Responsible, independent and able to take up challenge
- Cross functional ability to work with marketing / product marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
To be a Successful Candidate:
- Possess a minimum of Diploma in Business Administration or any related field, with 5 years of working experience in Sales (under the organized trade and local chain stores channel)
- Having working experience within the Consumer Electrical industry, Electrical and Electronic industry or FMCG distribution industry will be an added advantage
- Possess good communication and customer service skills, self-motivated, independent and results driven
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point
- Willing to travel locally from time to time on a business need basis.
- Possess own transport.
