- Perform timely application and renewal of Halal certification for current products and new products and be the point of contact with the respective regulatory bodies for third-party compliance audits.
- Maintain, review, and update the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), HALAL and HAS documentations
- Prepare halal training materials and conduct training to production staffs and workers for better understanding on the HALAL related issues from time to time.
- Conduct regular internal Halal audit of the premises in accordance with the JAKIM/JAIS requirement
- Responsible as documents controller in the company for GMP, HACCP & HALAL. Develop and implement the document control procedures and systems.
- Manage the creation, revision, distribution, and archiving of documents and ensuring documents are accurately labeled, indexed, and stored for easy retrieval.
- Manage the pest control (external & internal) activity in the company.
- Conduct incoming goods and packaging checking and ensure the incoming suppliers are in line with the HAS requirements.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Food Science and Technology or any relevant food science background. At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field.
- A Certified Halal Executive by halal training providers registered under Halal Professional Board (HPB), JAKIM will be the priority selection.
- Qualified and having a certificate in HALAL Executive /Management, ISO, HACCP, and GMP will be an advantage.
- Good in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace.
- Preferably possess own transport.
- Strong understanding of halal principles, regulations, and certification requirements.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, self-initiated.
- Possess good communication skills and able to work in a team.
