DevOps Cloud Developer (Banking Sector)

We are hiring a DevOps Cloud Developer on behalf of one of the largest and most prestigious banks in the country. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the banking sector, focusing on innovative cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions. You will be tasked with helping our client navigate the complexities of a hybrid environment, managing both AWS cloud infrastructure and traditional on-prem systems, and ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage a hybrid infrastructure that integrates AWS cloud services with on-premise systems, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability in a regulated banking environment.
• Utilize Kubernetes or Docker to deploy, manage, and orchestrate containerized applications across both cloud and on-prem platforms, ensuring seamless operations.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible, automating provisioning and configuration across the hybrid environment.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) to enable continuous integration and delivery for faster, more reliable software deployments.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure robust, compliant, and secure systems that meet the stringent requirements of the banking sector.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, ensuring system resilience, high availability, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Ensure security best practices are applied across both environments, with a focus on risk management, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC), paired with solid hands-on experience managing on-premise systems, ideally within a highly regulated industry like banking or finance.
• Expertise in Kubernetes or Docker for containerization and orchestration in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform or Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other languages to automate processes and ensure smooth operations.
• Strong understanding of compliance, security, and performance optimization in both cloud and on-prem environments, particularly in the banking or financial domain.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the delivery of robust and secure solutions that adhere to strict banking regulations.
