Take ownership for customer operations

As a Junior Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the installation and maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You will be the onsite expert, developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions.

As a Junior Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and contractors to ensure safety, compliance and quality

  • Overseeing, overhauling, troubleshooting and commissioning of rotating equipment at customer sites to ensure continued performance.

  • Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed and completed according to company standards

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have from 0 to 2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)

  • Able to display a dynamic customer service-orientation mindset, with experience of leading customers through tough decisions

  • Be able to communicate technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding

  • Have a valid passport and have excellent verbal and written English

  • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities
