Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Region HR Coordinator to join the Human Resources team based in Kuala Lumpur .

Overall Purpose of the Job

To assist HR Advisor/HR Manager to provide human resources support to area of responsibility within the Company ensuring adherence to HR company policies and procedures. Assist with HR projects as required.

Key Activities And Accountabilities

  • Support the HR and admin of Region Human Resources Manager and members of the Human Resources department at Region offices.
  • Coordinate training requests and registration, organize training programs and administer HRD Corp fund and related matters.
  • Develop and administer Annual Training Plan.
  • Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan (Expro’s Performance Management) are met.
  • Coordinate Employee Engagement program for Region employees and support the other Regional engagement if necessary.
  • Support and coordinate the ESG or CSR program.
  • Support the recruitment activities, coordinate with hiring managers on the hiring process including input to requisition, approval process, preparation of internal adverts, arranging, pre-screening interviews, pre-employment checks and onboarding support.
  • Coordinate non-local work permit applications, and renewals from end-to-end process by liaising with the government agencies (Immigration, MIDA, Talent Corporation, Ministry of Human Resources)
  • Ensure compliance and smooth processing that are in accordance with Expro Policy, the Malaysia government and all relevant Regulators/Stakeholders rules and regulations.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly reports / quarterly reports as required
  • Assist with coordination of documentation for payroll department i.e new hires, leavers, quarterly leave accrual
  • Timesheet management for region employees.

Job Knowledge And Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other related Business Administrative field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, HRBP or Generalist. Regional experience will be added advantage.
  • Experience in handling recruitment and hiring process
  • Experience in handling employees training & engagement will be an added advantage
  • Well versed with Malaysian work permit and professional visa application processes and procedures.
  • Good communications skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
