Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in production analysis and support efforts to optimize production within surface and reservoir constraints.
- Help model complex reservoirs and well structures, including multi-layered systems and various completion types (e.g., horizontal wells, multistage fracs).
- Participate in studies to evaluate stimulation, production, well design, testing programs, reservoir flow properties, and fluid behavior.
- Generate model inputs for reservoir simulations, including VLP curves, pressure constraints, and lift characteristics.
- Assist in evaluating simulation outputs to ensure they match field conditions and forecasts.
- Identify production issues related to near-wellbore and wellbore problems (e.g., skin degradation, liquid loading) and suggest potential solutions.
- Support sand control design efforts by evaluating options such as screens and gravel packs.
- Contribute to enhancement initiatives, including well screening and intervention recommendations to improve production.
- Perform routine quality assurance and quality control on production and completion data used for model building.
- Collaborate with team members on assigned projects, following verbal and written instructions.
- Provide support to senior engineers and technicians, learning from their expertise.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies and techniques for potential application in projects.
- Participate in project technical reviews and provide input on proposals for efficient operations.
- Undertake various other duties as assigned by the supervisor, within the scope of the role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with technical tools and software relevant to the field (e.g., CAD software, programming languages).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Have proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access) and other digital platforms.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Be detail-oriented and extremely efficient.
Working Conditions:
