Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to take a lead on the infrastructure security engineering projects. You will report into the Engineering Manager and be based onsite in Malaysia. We believe you have cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, integration, and development skills. As we are expanding our regional infrastructure security capabilities, you will work with a great team working on complex architectures and managing cloud security of one of the largest cloud deployments in the region.

- Solve well defined problems, building individual components or features based on well defined tasks. You understand the requirements of your projects and use that
- Take ownership of your code and ensure it’s readable, maintainable, and well-tested.
- Give clear, applicable feedback during code reviews and respond well to feedback from others.
- Respond promptly to issues and keep the working team always updated. Your tasks are delivered on time and with high quality, and you’re able to explain your solutions to others.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Proficient in deploying public cloud services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of Golang and experience in backend development.
- Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
- Committed to maintaining a set of software engineering skills.
- An understanding of clean architecture principles.
- 1+ years of experience with web frameworks and understanding of RESTful APIs.
