Field Services Engineer

Summary of the role:-

• Contract Duration – 1 year & Renewable
• Can be early if candidate is ready to work immediately
• Work location – Puchong area
• Training will be provided if required by existing workers
• Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 6pm (sometimes required to work weekend & OT will be provided)
• Only 2 level of interview

Education/ Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering an Advantage
• Minimum of a Technical Certificate in Instrumentation / Electrical trade or related discipline

Experience

• 3 Years in a relevant field (oil & gas preferred)
• Open for candidate with 2 to 3 working experience in related field
• Local travelling will be required

• Strong team player, experience in working in a team environment
• High level of skill in instrumentation and electromechanical work.
• Outstanding communications skills. The ability to communicate complex issues concisely and with clarity.
• The ability to produce clear written technical reports and documentation.
• Proficient in the Windows operating system environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Web Server, active directory and basic networking skills desirable
• Ensure required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, and documentation) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Produce part or part(s)/total of conceptual, functional detailed design specifications.
• Execute service or implementation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Execute Test work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Executes Documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Share technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines
• Report progress and technical problems to project and engineering supervisor.
• Pro -actively identify potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work.
• Comply with all Engineering Processes, tools and methodologies

Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
