About The Role
As a Junior UI/UX Designer at Tekkis, your role would include designing on-brand responsive website designs, mobile apps, and graphic images. You will work closely with UI/UX Designer, Customer Experience, Data and Tech teams to create, refine features and products while bringing the best user experience to customers. You will build wireframes, mockups and user flows, working closely with the developers to successfully implement them. You will also work closely with Customer Experience and Marketing to gain and share insights to improve user journey flows and messaging.
You Will:
- Brainstorm, conceptualize, ideate, and work with teams to execute creative briefs such as wireframes, mockups, and user flows
- Generate data-driven designs with insights from user testing, user research, or competitor analysis
- Actively involved in ideating and implementing UI/UX improvements of Tekkis solutions and features
- Develop creative UI/UX design for mobile apps and responsive websites
- Design and create brand assets that adhere to brand guidelines
- Keep company brand consistency across all products and marketing materials.
- Be part of creative pitches, campaign proposals, and create designs for marketing materials
You Have:
- Fresh Graduate / 1 year experience related to the field is encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree/diploma/certificate in graphic design/information technology/interactive media/ multimedia/or a related field
- Experience designing, including wireframes and mockups, with tools like Figma, Sketch, Webflow, Adobe, or similar
- Experience analyzing customer behavior and implementing UX insights to improve user flows
- Desire to champion the Design and UX voice and work cross-team to effectively deliver a customer-centric experience for end-users
- Knowledge in designing mobile web apps, responsive websites, and graphic images
- Agility to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Self-motivated and learns quickly on the go
- A strong portfolio of products or services designed
- Ability to debug CSS issues (via inspector etc) and collaborate with the tech department to resolve UI issues.
Nice to Have:
- Experience within the Fintech, Regtech, e-Commerce, or similar
- The ability to start immediately or with a short notice period would be an advantage
- Frontend development experience such as HTML, CSS
