Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring that all staff members adhere to company policies and performance standards.
  • Scheduling: Prepare work schedules and assign housekeeping duties for staff. Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Inspection & Quality Control: Regularly inspect rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials. Coordinate with purchasing to replenish stock when needed.
  • Customer Service: Address guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations. Implement and monitor adherence to cleaning protocols and sanitation standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (front desk, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on housekeeping operations, including staffing needs, supply usage, and guest feedback, to upper management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and safety protocols. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in housekeeping.

Working hours :

  • Monday - saturday (8.30 - 5.00pm

  • Klang Valley area

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
