The Company

Established in 2015, this company has rapidly grown into a leading B2B platform for overseas hotel bookings in China. With strong direct purchasing capabilities, extensive marketing channels, and a professional service platform, it supplies quality hotel and travel resources to over 10,000 partners, including travel agencies, airlines, and banks. The company has expanded its presence across Asia and Europe and connects with major international hotel groups to offer diversified and cost-effective hotel products. It recently completed its A round of financing.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in direct hotel procurement in Vietnam or Malaysia market; if the candidate have experience in both market is preferred;
• High-end hotel resources is preferred;
• Strong team management experience, having led a team of at least 5 people;
• Fluent in English. Chinese language is preferred;
• Homebased, no office.
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• According to the business strategies, grow the business footprint within your country/region through new hotels acquisition and retention/growth of existing accounts, leading deal negotiations with key hotels and exceeding revenue goals.
• Lead, inspire, coach and develop teams to hit the country or region’s commercial KPIs
• Analyze the country/region’s market, create strategic plans, and align priorities with the management team
• Analyze and feedback on the availability and quality of data, which lead to recommendations for commercial improvements
• Develop and own relationships with key decision makers at hotels, technology partners and other local or regional partners
• Attend and participate in relevant industry or Convergent’s events.
  
  
  

Requirements

• More than 6 years of professional experience, highly preferred within hotel, travel, or hospitality industry (especially OTA or B2B channels)
• Proven strong leadership skills, team leader and team player is a must
• Experience leading complex and cross-functional projects; Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Able to identify opportunities and make decisions based on facts and data
• Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
• Mandarin written and spoken skill will be advantage.”
