  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the plant operations, and all of its on-site personnel, including but not limited to external personnel, are in a safe condition.
  • Responsible for all instruments and control system (such as PLC, HMI, SCADA)
  • Responsible in optimizing and monitoring the assigned Plant & equipment(s) and ensuring its instrumentation & automation system undergoes smooth operation.
  • Responsible in predictive maintenance program and turnaround activities planning, ensuring the plant is routinely serviced to meet optimal running conditions.
  • Deal with emergencies breakdown, unplanned issues and repairs.
  • Assist Automation / Instrument Lead from Centre of Excellence in the execution of group-wide directives and implementations for this specific site.

Project Execution Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate project site work, construction operation and other activities.
  • Coordinate & prepare tender for instrumentation and automation work scope during project execution phase, in accordance with project requirements to ensure technical and regulatory compliances are met.
  • Project engineering or Instrument / Automation related documentation tasks
  • Perform all phase of Pre-functional Performance test and Functional Performance Test e.g. loop check.
  • Assist in other minor project development activities for the company from time-to-time.

Qualifications

Education

  • Possess an engineering Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or any other applicable field.

Working experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in DCS/PLC/SCADA/Field Instrumentations maintenance, troubleshooting and project works.

Knowledge & Skill

  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas, and petrochemical related industry on-site technical & safety requirements. Hands on experience and good at troubleshooting issues.
  • Good knowledge in DCS / Instrumentation system and logic controls to carry out Engineering & design, modification, troubleshooting, maintenance, failure analysis independently without OEM support, wherever back-end system programming are not required.
  • Have excellent knowledge of PLC, SCADA/HMI. Experienced in handling instrumentation/automation related projects will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Supcon / Hollysys control system is highly sought after.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Mandarin language skill will be an added advantage in communicating with China partners.
  • Tactful, firm when necessary.
