Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Technical Support position at Pertama Digital Berhad in Petaling Jaya. The Technical Support personnel will be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, providing technical support, communicating with users, and possibly involved in project management tasks.

  • Provide infrastructure support according to the needs of the Solutions Architect and Lead, Product.
  • Monitor technical performance of internal and external systems.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and

programming.

  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and

computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  • Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
  • Support the company with technical assistance to meet the growth targets set by the CEO.
  • Handling Corporate office network setup & Maintenance (Internet/Dataline subscription

and management, Access Points, Printers & Sharing folder)

  • Create email accounts for new joiners and disable/archive for ex staff.
  • Setup kocek network and CCTV for Kocek Booth locations include events
  • Troubleshoot Windows Laptop/PC, Mac Laptop & kocek network CCTV
  • Assist Finance & HR on docs required signs and submission to the banks etc
  • Handling of office stationery
  • Prepare laptops, tablets, network and hybrid setup for BOD/AGM meeting
  • Main person to handle Company storeroom
  • Manage TAS.COM.MY & 15888.MY Google Workspace account
  • Oversee the procurement, tracking, and allocation of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses,

and peripherals.

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping in the asset

management system.

  • Perform regular audits to verify asset locations, status, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims, and asset disposals.
  • Generate reports on asset utilization, lifecycle, and depreciation for management review.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably have related experience in technical support and integration.
  • Preferably have strong technical knowledge of Windows, network products such as firewall, AP, router,

and Layer 3 switch.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to empathize with customers and efficiently resolve

issues.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary, with the ability to convey

technical information to non-technical users in multiple languages.

  • Keen interest in continual learning and professional development.
  • Result-oriented, customer-focused, self-motivated, proactive and problem-solving.
  • Preferably able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • You must possess own car transport with valid driving license
