Mid-Senior Level 3D/CGI Artist for eCommerce Product Rendering

We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D/CGI Artist to create high-quality visual representations of our top-selling products using advanced 3D techniques.

Job Description:
As a 3D/CGI Artist at MIRA Safety, you will be responsible for producing photo-realistic 3D models and animations for our product line, including gas masks and filters. You will handle everything from UV mapping and topology to texturing, lighting, and rendering with advanced techniques like ray tracing. You will also create engaging animations, including exploded product views, to showcase our products’ features.

Responsibilities:

• 3D Modeling: Develop highly detailed, accurate 3D models of MIRA Safety products (gas masks, filters, etc.) using industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• UV Mapping & Topology: Ensure efficient UV mapping and clean topology for optimized texturing and high-performance visualization.
• Texturing & Materials: Create photo-realistic textures and materials (e.g., metal, plastic, rubber) to replicate the look and feel of our products with precision.
• Ray Tracing & Rendering: Utilize ray tracing and other advanced rendering techniques to deliver hyper-realistic, high-end product renders that enhance the user’s experience.
• Exploded Product Views: Create animated exploded views of products, showcasing internal components and assembly in an engaging and educational way.
• Lighting & Rendering Setup: Set up professional lighting environments to ensure consistency across all renders, suitable for both desktop and mobile e-commerce platforms.
• Animation: Animate product turntables, exploded views, and highlight key product features in a compelling way for e-commerce and marketing purposes.
• Optimization: Balance visual fidelity with web performance, ensuring that 3D models and renders are optimized for fast loading times on e-commerce platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and video production team to understand product features and ensure your 3D assets are aligned with MIRA Safety’s brand guidelines and aesthetic.
• File Management: Organize, manage, and maintain an accessible library of all 3D assets and project files for future updates or use.

Requirements:

• Experience as a 3D/CGI Artist, particularly in e-commerce or product visualization.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, 3Ds Max, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with UV mapping, topology, and high-end texturing techniques.
• Expertise in ray tracing and lighting techniques to deliver photo-realistic renders.
• Demonstrated ability to create and animate exploded product views, showing internal components and assembly processes.
• Experience optimizing 3D models and textures for fast-loading e-commerce platforms.
• Ability to produce 360-degree product views and product animations for e-commerce.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for texture creation and post-production editing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end product renders, ray-traced images, and animated product visuals.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
