  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the role

We are seeking a driven and tech-savvy Field Digital Solutions Intern to join our team at Serimax Welding Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position that will provide you with invaluable hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying business applications using low-code platform. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in software development to gain hands-on experience and grow their technical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of business applications using low-code platform (PowerApps).
  • Work closely with the Digital Solutions team to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet client needs.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in low-code development.

What we're looking for

  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts, including object-oriented programming, databases, and web development.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms is a plus but not required (training will be provided).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to drive digital transformation
  • French speaking is added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
