- Conduct mold repair & maintenance for production.
- Improve critical molds and minimize machine downtime.
- Troubleshoot, analyze issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Hands-on with mold making, assembly, and follow-up until mass production.
- Modify existing and new molds.
- Collaborate with mold makers for improvements.
- Train and develop departmental staff while ensuring discipline and safety.
- Operate conventional tooling machines.
- Maintain departmental equipment, machinery, and oversee 5S activities.
- Lead mold design reviews to avoid costly changes.
- Achieve departmental goals aligned with company policies.
- Generate reports and participate in cost-saving activities.
- Perform additional tasks as needed by the superior.
Job requirements:
- Candidate to possess Degree in Engineering (preferably Mold & Die, Mechanical, or Manufacturing).
- 3-5 years of experience in injection molding and tooling.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and 3D design skills are an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
