Role Description
Support the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on meeting customer quality requirements. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance project performance and customer satisfaction.
CORE COMPETENCIES/ TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong technical knowledge of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines (experience in Siemens Aeroderivative Gas Turbines would be added advantage).
- Experience in handling commercial contracts including quotation, reporting, terms & conditions, and other technical aspects of the product(s).
- Good communication skills – verbal and written.
- Effective and creative decision maker / problem solver.
- Team Player – communication, discussion and coordination/planning with customers and suppliers (externally) and with workshop/colleagues (internally).
- Basic understanding of HR policies/procedures and best HR practices.
- Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 would be added advantage.
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft products
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Depending on the exact nature of the job, some or all the following may be required:
- Degree/Diploma or other relevant qualification in any Engineering disciplines
- Strong technical knowledge in Aeroderivative Gas Turbines would be advantages.
- Several years’ experience in Gas Turbines Repair & Overhaul environment would be advantages.
- Considerable experience of people management - technical/commercial aspects
