Project Engineer

Responsibilities

Project Engineering Management for equipment projects such as upgrades and installations. Responsibilities include:

• Pre-sales project support
• Organizing internal and external kick-off meetings
• Conducting site measurements and machine planning
• Processing orders through SAP
• Preparing project layouts, foundation drawings, and documentation
• Organizing installation and delivery schedules
• Coordinating with clients on machine groundwork and installation plans
• Managing project checklists, progress, and reporting
• Ensuring site safety and project acceptance
• Overseeing project costs and risks
• Cross-department Coordination to resolve project site issues, meet objectives, and improve internal processes.

Other duties

1. Client Relationship Management to maintain strong partnerships and provide sales support for new orders.
2. Collaboration with AJW Consultancy's global teams to ensure seamless operations.
3. Flexibility to take on additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related)
• Strong background in medium-to-large machinery projects
• Over 8 years of experience in sales or project management, ideally with multinational companies
• Ability to work independently and in a sales-oriented environment
• Excellent command of English and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
• Experience in site management is essential
• Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific, India, and Africa
• Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, and customer-focused
• Open-minded, dynamic, and proactive
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across all organizational levels
