We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Project Manager to join our team and lead the growth and optimization of this innovative platform.

JOB PURPOSE

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in implementing strategic initiatives across countries and teams and this role is pivotal to the product and market fit. This role is ideal for a candidate with a consulting or marketing/product strategy background, 5+ years of experience, and a desire to transition into a start up environment. You will be responsible for managing category assortments, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the seamless seller success. Your expertise in building business cases, business plans, and managing senior stakeholders will be essential in driving our marketplace vision. strategies in a start up like environment, as the venture is being built

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Category & Assortment Management:

  • Identify gaps and opportunities within the marketplace.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize product assortments.

Business Models & Partnerships:

  • Design and refine business models to ensure a competitive and sustainable marketplace offering.
  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Seller Acquisition & Process Implementation:

  • Lead the seller hunt process, establishing robust internal and external policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of seller onboarding and management processes.

Data & KPI Management:

  • Collaborate with finance, data and seller teams to set up and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and performance improvements.

Platform Optimization & CRM:

  • Support onsite platform conversion rate optimization.
  • Develop and execute product and CRM and retention strategies to enhance customer engagement.

Product Management:

  • Prioritize product features to align with the marketplace vision and country-specific needs.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting role, with a strong desire to implement strategies in a start up environment.
  • Proven ability to build business cases and business plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage very senior stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
