We are looking for an experienced “IT Software Engineer – SAP BASIS” to join the global Central Technology team which is responsible for enabling SAP integrations, content management and digital services across all business functions within Hilti. You will have the opportunity to design, implement and maintain a couple of mission critical SAP systems ensuring security, resiliency and business continuity.

You will be the technical owner of the SAP Gateway, SAP SLT and SAP Solution Manager systems ensuring that these systems are evergreened in terms of both system reliability and security which includes patching, security note implementation and overall system hardening,
This role would give you the opportunity to be part of our technology future proofing roadmap where we find new solutions for our existing SAP systems on the Netweaver platform. This will give you the opportunity to explore new solution and provide your stamp on our technology innovation.
Outside the day-to-day tasks, you will be involved in multiple cross functional projects that would require domain expertise the in SAP GW, SAP SLT and SAP Solution manager which would provide you the platform to connect with a huge audience of IT and business stakeholders.

- Solid understanding of SAP BASIS concepts and a clear passion for learning and development.
- You are detail oriented, able to work independently, team player with a can-do attitude with an open attitude to learn new technologies.
- The ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and ideas to senior IT management, functional and business teams.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or in a related field with Cumulative Grade point Average > 3.0. Master’s degree. is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of working on SAP BASIS
- Minimum 3 years solid experience in SAP NetWeaver Gateway working with OData, UI5 services.
- Solid Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Integration security implementation (UCONN, RFC callback etc.)
- Solid hands-on experience in upgrading SAP NetWeaver based products such SAP Gateway, SolMan and SAP SLT
- Solid understanding of SAP ABAP development.
- Hands on experience working with SAP Landscape transformation (SLT)
- Experience in certificate handling and authentication via certificate based or OAUTH2..
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well balanced, adaptive communication style; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
Good to have
- Experience in SAP Integration Suite API Management.
- Experience in implementing SAP Cloud Application Landscape management (SAP CALM)
