Get to Know the Role

As the Senior Product and Map Operations Leader, you will be important to the GEO and Product Tech families. You will lead the daily operations, planning, and overseeing the smooth running of geo operations to ensure our objectives are met. You will oversee and collaborate with teams across different departments, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative environment.

You will set strategic visions and operationalizing them using industry best practices. You will inspire creativity within the team, encouraging an environment that encourages brainstorming and the development of efficient project management strategies.

Your focus on data quality will be crucial, and your ability to handle projects, even beyond the scope of Geo, will be valued. You will manage the operations of our mapping team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality maps.

You will also drive regional mapping projects, and your ability to take on strategic projects outside of Geo will be paramount. You'll reporting to Head of Product Operations. The working arrangement for this role is hybrid.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Oversee daily operations of the mapping team, ensuring high-quality map delivery.
  • Lead team leads on data analysis to support mapping initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and monitor project progress for and accurate completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive regional mapping projects.
  • Conduct local and regional training sessions, perform quality checks, and handle translation and transcription where needed.
  • Lead a lean team from mapping and product operations.
  • Plan and execute production activities and motivate the team to accomplish these plans.
  • Liaise with leadership to make decisions for operational activities, strategic goals, and budgets.
  • Champion proficiency for current industry practices, including productivity, quality, planning, and culture.
  • Adhere to Grab's confidentiality procedures and data collection, storage, and sharing policies.
