Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Team Leadership:
    • Lead staff in executing daily receiving tasks, ensuring that all received goods are accurate and in good condition.
    • Escalate any disqualified shipments to the buyer or Incoming Quality Control (IQC) for further inspection.
    • Accurately book daily receiving logs in SAP and track IQC completion schedules to ensure timely release of cargo to inventory.
    • Collect and maintain records of damaged shipments for filing claims.
  • Inventory Team Leadership:
    • Supervise staff in the accurate entry of cargo data, including date codes, batches, revisions, and country of origin (COO) into the E-Logbook for effective inventory control.
    • Ensure daily orders are processed correctly and transferred in a timely manner to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Oversee the quarterly scrap program, ensuring timely completion.
    • Monitor daily cycle counts and annual physical counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Trucking/Packing Team Leadership:
    • Lead staff to fulfill daily orders and ensure shipments are dispatched on time per customer-requested estimated time of delivery (ETD).
    • Verify that products from inventory match customer orders and comply with special handling requests.
    • Oversee the release of daily shipments to truckers, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition rules.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze current warehouse operations to identify and implement improvements, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors across all teams.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the warehouse and conduct regular training sessions for staff.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels and shipment details. Prepare reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or higher is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with any ERP (SAP/others) and WMS systems is a must.
  • Certificate of Safe Handling of Forklift Truck is required.
  • Basic computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
