Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve business growth targets.
  • Drive B2B and B2C sales in the lubricant market, with a focus on building a robust supply chain and distribution network.
  • Expand market share through strategic partnerships, branding initiatives, and retail network expansion.
  • Mentor and develop distributor networks, improving overall sales effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends, monitor regulatory changes, and create reports to support business decisions.

Commercial & Business Development:

  • Support distributors in implementing sales and marketing plans that drive volume and profit goals.
  • Conduct product knowledge sessions and demonstrations, ensuring teams are well-versed in lubricant products.
  • Win new business and explore new market opportunities by building strategic alliances with workshops and other market players.
  • Manage annual business plans, ensuring alignment with key company objectives.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead marketing initiatives, including trade promotions and digital media campaigns.
  • Oversee sales operations, including order processing, inventory management, and sales tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams) to drive operational efficiencies.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and forecasts to track performance metrics and identify growth areas.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts, driving negotiations and stakeholder engagements.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with significant exposure to the lubricant industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the B2B/B2C lubricant market and a proven track record in sales leadership.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Malay is essential.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing teams and building distributor capabilities.
  • Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
