GL Accounting

  • Manage Company Fixed Asset Daily Operation.
    • Fixed Asset Registration/Capitalization
    • Fixed Asset Disposal
    • Fixed Asset Transfer
    • Prepare Fixed Asset Movement Report
    • Depreciation Report
    • Annual Fixed Asset Sighting Exercise.
  • Overall GL review before closing.
  • Accrual review and posting (General Expenses, Waste Collection, Utilities etc)
  • Salary & Bonus
  • Accrual reconciliation report
  • Prepayment posting
  • Tooling reclass posting etc
  • Analyze/explain manufacturing variances on an M-o-M basis
  • Prepare monthly closing report before closing
    • Prepayment report
    • Sale reconciliation report
    • Tooling report
  • Run Revaluation for Mond End Closing.
  • Cost Accounting

  • Propose and update monthly Standard Cost (Copper, Precious Metal)
  • Coordinate and consolidate all costing computation.
  • Update Standard price for new material into system.
  • Performing monthly financial closing activities for cost accounting processes related.
    • Provision obsolete stock
    • Purchase Price variance transaction
    • Expenses absorption to inventory
    • Chemical in tank monitoring and transaction.
    • Month end stock take for precious metal and tape etc
  • Conduct / Coordinate annual/surprise stock taking and inventory stock count and related checking reports
  • Handling company Scrap Sales activity for Account Department portion including posting and e-invoice handling.
  • Prepare, monitor and analyze company monthly scraps sales report.
  • To prepare monthly financial review to management.
  • Prepare Company Budget and Forecast.
  • Responsible for handling product costing & perform periodic reviews and analysis on production and price variances for effective costs controls
  • Ability to analyze, interprets, summarize and articulate financial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Tracking trade expenses for ongoing programs to ensure the expenses spent are aligned with the approved budget, to analyze for the actual cost incurred vs budget and prepare analytical reports for management review.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Work in a team or manage a team to achieve planned targets
  • Any other duties as and when assigned by management
  • Manage queries from internal and external auditors
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent). CPA, ACCA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Working experiences in a manufacturing environment will be added advantage.
  • Possesses critical thinking and good attention to detail
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • SAP system knowledge - FI, MM modules will be added advantage.
