Reporting to the Head of Claims, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Claims Team in administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify submission of claims to ensure that information/documents are in order
  • Registration upon receipt of claims documents for all lines of business
  • Identify claim documents for various stage of claims
  • Excess/recovery letter to be sent out for all lines of business upon instructions from claims handler and update excel spreadsheet
  • Update all claims reports after processing of payment for all lines of business
  • RI registration and payment processing
  • Processing of insurance policies and payments for all lines of business
  • Ensure verification and processing of invoices are up to date
  • Follow up with clients and customers via telephone calls and emails
  • Ensure compliance with service standards & document turnaround time
  • Participate in system implementation project
  • Assist and process Windscreen and Recovery claims
  • Data entry
  • Any other ad hoc tasks or administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder and above, preferably with at least 1 year of relevant claims experience in the General Insurance industry
  • Has a positive attitude and a team player
  • Able to work independently
  • Candidates who possess any insurance certification would have an added advantage
  • Candidates without prior experience but are keen to enter the General Insurance industry as also welcomed to apply
