Job Description
- Develop lesson plans for day-to-day teaching activities and establish learning objectives for the day based on curriculum plans and guidelines provided.
- Support the centre's daily duties in relation to the overall operations of the centre.
- Conduct classroom sessions for assigned level. Works hand-in-hand with the teaching team in regards to the children in their class.
- Manage class record updates, child's portfolio and communication via an internal platform.
- Monitor, record and provide feedback of a child’s learning growth progress through classroom assessment, evaluation.
- Ensure safety and emotional well-being of the children are properly cared for.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and the teaching team.
- Guide and mentor Support English Teachers.
- Manage logistics planning for non-curriculum activities (e.g. field trips) and festive activities.
- Attend mandatory trainings and professional development courses when needed.
Job Requirements
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Early Childhood Education certificate holders preferred. However, keen applicants from a different industry but with at least ONE (1) year of prior working experience in the early childhood education industry are also encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of child development and learning needs with the ability to engage with children between the ages 1.5 - 6 years.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, creative, proactive and have a positive learning attitude.
- Preferred skills: Classroom set-up, preparation and routine management skills, basic first aid knowledge.
