The Logistics Executive / Manager serves as a member of staff with Proceanic Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd and plays a critical role in operational and logistics management decisions and activities.

The primary objective of the position is to provide management and support services for Proceanic operations in Asia, Middle East and Internationally and to continually develop and improve Proceanic operations and logistics management infrastructure and systems.

Primary duties include:

  • Logistics - International Freight/Import/Export/Customs (Equipment)
  • Logistics - Maintenance Management/Tracking/Inventory/Data/Procurement (Equipment)
  • Logistics - International and Domestic Travel Management
  • Logistics - Visas/Medicals and other travel logistics
  • Logistics - Personnel Training, Monitoring, Management & Logistics
  • Logistics – Exhibition/Trade Show Logistics Management
  • Logistics - IT & Infrastructure Logistics management
  • Logistics - ISNetworld Administration/HSE Data Management
  • Logistics - Develop high-quality working relationships with logistics and other related sub-contractors.
  • Operations - Campaign Logistics Tracking
  • Operations - Procedural Audits
  • Operations - Support Proceanic Vendor Approval activities
  • Operations - Support to Senior Management Team, Administration activities with clerical duties if/when necessary
  • Business - Learn the Proceanic Business Model, Capabilities and Services Offered and Logistic Support Needs
  • Business - Support Proceanic contract negotiations/dispute resolution with clients and sub-contractors.
  • Travel as required

Other duties as advised from time to time by Senior Management

Job Requirements:

  • Be committed and passionate in leading operations/logistics activities within the company.
  • Be enthusiastic about self-development and widening skills and knowledge of company operations.
  • Strong logistics management skills and experience. Preferable with experience of 2-5 years.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and poise in dealing with a diverse range of people & cultures in a variety of circumstances.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills & ability to develop proposals, contracts, budgets & other documents.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with in-house staff, consultants, and 3rd party company personnel.
  • Strong computer skills, with respect to communications and logistics
  • Be flexible and have a responsive approach to work.
  • Ability to work without day-to-day supervision.
