Job Overview

As a Claims Registration/Processing Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate processing of insurance claims. You will be responsible for registering new claims, verifying policy details, assessing claim validity, and processing payments to policyholders or healthcare providers. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex insurance policies and procedures.

Specific Tasks

Claims Registration

• Receive and register new insurance claims submitted by policyholders or healthcare providers.
• Enter claim information accurately into the company's database and claims management system.
• Verify policy details and ensure all required information is complete and accurate for processing.

Payment Processing

• Calculate claim amounts based on policy coverage, deductibles, and other applicable factors.
• Initiate and process payments to policyholders or healthcare providers within established timelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies during payment processing.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all claims processed, payments made, and correspondence with stakeholders.

Requirements:-

• Possess a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply but prior experience in Insurance field would be an added advantage
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, authorities and external parties
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance after completion of internal training
• Malaysian Citizen

Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications
