Safety Officer (Yellow Book Holder)

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety Health & Environment or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in construction industry.
• Possess a valid Yellow Book from DOSH and valid CIDB card.
• Experienced in the Construction industry preferably in data center
• Good written and verbal communication skill in English
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams
• Prefer candidate who based and willing to work in Johor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To plan, assign and supervise safety matters and requirement for all work sites
• To implement all policies, activities, procedure and instruction as relevant and requirement by the quality system
• To ensure all work sites and offices are safe and in compliance with the OSHA Act 1994, CIDB requirements and company safety policies
• Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the site
• Correcting any unsafe practices
• Checking of sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with.
• To handle and monitor general workers problems and report to HOD
• Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
• Prepare monthly Safety Audit Report to the management on timely basis

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Fixed shift
• Monday to Friday
