Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible on new enquiry, quotation
- Gather details and compile data to estimate all production costs considering raw materials, labour, equipment, tooling etc. for estimation
- Provide summary of costing which ease decision making on selling price
- Analyse manufacturing cost and prepare related reports
- Maintain and computation of actual and standard costing
- Proactive analysis of variances between actual costing and standard costing
- Compile and analyse product-related costing and reporting
- Work closely with various departments to maintain accurate BOM setting
- Responsible to review and update standard cost changes from time to time
- Any ad hoc analysis, reporting and duty as assigned by superior
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 - 3 years of working experience in related field is required for this position
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent. Candidate with Engineering background or science are encouraged to apply
- Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and costing understanding
- Willingness to learn and ability to meet datelines
- Proven communication skills / presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge or experience in standard costing will be an added advantage
- Computer Literate – Strong excel skills, advance excel knowledge will be an added advantage
- Good Interpersonal Skills with attention to details and a hands on person
- Able to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision
- Experience with ERP system will have an added advantage.
