This is a key position in the UNIRAW DAIRIES & FOOD SDN BHD group to ensure the General Ledger (GL) function is up to high standards. The chosen candidate should develop the GL team while playing the role of change catalyst in the group.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statement including profit & loss, balance sheet, tax computations and others financial report.
  • To handle group consolidation and prepare of group return.
  • To handle group cash flow including monitoring daily bank balances, cash flow forecast and planning & verification of weekly payments.
  • Responsible to manage and monitor company performance including assessment of product costing and profitability.
  • Responsible to ensure company’s accounting records & systems are complied with company’s policies, related tax & statutory requirements.
  • Responsible to review journal entries and ensure inter-companies accounts are accurate and maintain up to date General Ledger.
  • Responsible to plan and verify weekly and monthly payments.
  • Liaise with Auditors, Tax Consultant, Bankers, Telco and government

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate / Diploma/ Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in Accounts/ Finance is required for this position.
  • Required Language: English, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Cina (This role required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients).
  • Experience in SQL Accounting Software would be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Offices, e.g. Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Sheets.
  • Team player who is independent, analytical, result-driven, integrity and ambitious.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Foreign current exchange experience
