Cloud Security Engineer (Azure)

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our security team and help us protect
our systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Your primary role will be to implement
and manage the security measures needed to protect Azure Cloud.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan and implement cybersecurity solutions that meet our business objectives and
security requirements.
· Monitor the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures, identify, and remediate any
gaps or issues.
· Research and evaluate new cybersecurity technologies and solutions and
recommend improvements or enhancements to the existing measures.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cybersecurity related incidents and
requests.
· Ensure security controls are effective and optimally configured.
· Play a pivotal role in security related project implementation.
· Maintain awareness of emerging cyber threats
· Manage SLAs of security vendors and partners

JOB REQUIREMENT
· A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or
equivalent work experience.
· At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or network administration, with a
focus on security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
· 2+ years’ experience as Azure Cloud Security Engineer
· Expertise in Azure cloud identity and access management
· Expertise in Azure security monitoring tools and controls
· Expertise in security aspects of data storage, applications, network, cloud
infrastructure, etc.
· Expertise with cybersecurity technologies and tools, such as Azure Security Centre
and Microsoft Defender suite.
· Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages, such as Python,
PowerShell, Bash, or C++.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as NIST CSF, ISO
27001, CIS Controls and Bank Negara Malaysia’s RMIT.
· A good team player with excellent communication skills.
· Passionate in cyber security.
