What will you

  • Identify and establish relationships with key real estate developers and valuers in the Malaysian market.
  • Prepare proposal and obtain approval to empanel developers and valuers
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships based on mutual trust and understanding.
  • Conduct reviews of panel developers and valuer’s performance on periodic basis.
  • Monitor approved limits and request for approval if additional limit is required.
  • Understand developer business models, challenges, and growth strategies.
  • Analyze developer needs and preferences to develop customized home financing solutions.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative Shariah-compliant home financing products.
  • Ensure that home financing products align with developer business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive home financing sales through developer partnerships.
  • Develop joint marketing and promotional activities with developers.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for other banking products and services.
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments of developer projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and Shariah requirements.
  • Manage credit risk exposure associated with developer partnerships.
  • Monitor real estate market trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and challenges in the home financing market.
  • Provide market insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Performing other duties, assignment as assigned by ARBM management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience retail / consumer banking with specialization in home financing / mortgage portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian real estate market and home financing industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the banking sector.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Islamic banking principles and products, particularly home financing.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
