Sales & Application Engineer

We are a global manufacturer specializing in optical inspection, measurement and automated handling equipment for front-end and back-end of Semiconductor industry processes.

In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill the vacancy of Sales & Application Engineer (Based in Hicom Glenmarie, Shah Alam).

Responsibilities:

• Establish new and maintain existing relationships with key customers & support sales activities for current and new projects.
• Make cold calls to set up meeting appointments with potential customers.
• Prepare customer orders, compile customer purchase orders, quotations and follow up on financial status.
• Liaise with customers to determine their business needs and solutions.
• Work with suppliers from various countries (Europe, US, China) to discuss sample evaluation methods.
• To conduct sample evaluation on demo machine, provide report and solution to improve customer's production efficiency.
• Provide on-site training to distributors and customers.
• Travel within Malaysia or sometimes overseas to support customer's applications.
• Other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronic / Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Candidates with working experience in semiconductors will be prioritized/preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel domestically or overseas.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated with a good personality and working attitude.
