- Be aware of and comply with the requirements of all relevant company QA/HSE procedures and policies.
- Ensure that all work carried out by Service personnel (staff or agency) is done safely, correctly and efficiently. Toolbox talks, Job Safety Analysis (JSA's), Risk Assessments, Permit To Work (PTW) and rig-specific safety programmes must be put into practice at all times.
- Prepare, issue and ensure the use of Operational procedures for all allocated jobs.
- Brief all key personnel on job expectations and safety requirements before they are mobilised to an assignment either onshore or offshore.
- Attend client morning calls, safety meetings, operations meetings, wash-up meetings etc when requested.
- Ensure all the offshore and onshore rig equipment are working in good condition, track, and order all critical spares for equipment to be kept in country warehouse and operating rigs.
- Carry out safety audits, NOV Solids Control and DWM equipment checks and service personnel safety awareness during periodic rig visits (as required)
- Ensure service personnel submit required detailed and precise reports in support of requested activities (e.g. Service report, Well recap information, Survey reports, Safety reports, Lessons Learned).
- De-brief key personnel after returning from a job ensuring that the work has been carried out correctly and safely. Ensure all relevant documentation has been correctly submitted.
- Track rental equipment and personnel on a daily basis to ensure figures submitted at month end are accurate.
- Ensure that ALL assigned Work Orders (WO) is correctly managed and controlled. Accurate project cost (rebill) report to be submitted on a weekly basis.
- Ensure that MR/RAR/SRF forms are submitted to office in a timely manner clearly stating correct and accurate information.
- Ensure equipment, spares, consumables and Shaker Screens load-outs and equipment returns to base are managed and controlled correctly. Ensure that all equipment manifests are collated and distributed to all relevant onshore and offshore personnel.
- Liaise with NOV Engineering Department as and when projects dictate the need for their input and involvement.
- Liaise with Operations Manager as and when required. Ensuring that revenue forecasts and future well plans are accurately submitted when requested. Ensure that updates are given on any changes to client's current or future drilling programmes.

- Actively ensure his/her own health and safety, together with that of fellow workers, or any other 3rd party at all times
- Ensure that all accidents and/or incidents are reported in a timely manner (Immediately) to the Safety Department and Line Supervisor / Management
- Actively promote a Safety Culture.
- Motivate, guide and develop engineers in the NOV Brandt product lines or any other new technology product or system within capabilities
- Ensure that all Service personnel are correctly trained prior to being mobilised offshore/onshore.
- Attend training courses as booked by line management or as set out in annual personal appraisals.
- Identify training requirements for service personnel and liaise with Operations Manager.
- To ensure that the NOV quality control and quality assurance procedures are adhered to as applicable to designated projects
- Comply with NOV Quality Management System at all time.
