Position Overview

This role involves the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility systems including electrical, HVAC, building infrastructure, steam boilers, glycol burner systems, and fire-fighting equipment. The position also requires collaboration with other facility teams, participation in the Emergency Response Team, and strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties:

  • Uphold company values and standards, ensuring compliance with the company's Code of Business Conduct.
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment Standards.
  • Perform efficient and effective preventive maintenance (PM) activities, minimizing equipment downtime and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Maintain accurate records of PM activities and provide 24/7 facility support to production operations.
  • Assist in cost-saving initiatives, equipment setup, and efficiency improvement of PM and machine repair times.
  • Foster effective communication across shifts and ensure smooth shift handovers and productive start-up meetings.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process-related problems, proposing permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for high-pressure steam-producing equipment.
  • Update equipment and instrument maintenance records in the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system.
  • Adhere to 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and perform routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient system operations.
  • Manage and maintain chemical and fire-fighting equipment in optimal condition.
  • Conduct safety inspections of emergency eyewash stations, ladders, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Risk Assessment Team (HIRARC & Aspect/Impact), conducting risk analyses and implementing preventive measures.
  • Perform environmental impact assessments and coordinate the execution of preventive actions for identified risks.
  • Actively participate in or support the site Emergency Response Team.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

    • SPM/Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in facility building and equipment maintenance or 4 years of relevant experience.
    • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building maintenance systems.
