Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Business Strategies and Plans to grow the company and retail outlet Sales and Profitability (Both Principals and House product lines). This includes leading his marketing and sales team in accomplishing marketing and sales objectives and targets.
  • Responsible and accountable for the financial performance of the business unit by managing the timely & effective collection of all debts including negotiate of repayment plans (when necessary) with the objective to minimize the company in market credit exposure and bad debts.
  • Ensures the business unit is correctly staffed at all times with most suitably qualified team members.
  • Motivates the team by creating a stimulating, positive and energetic work atmosphere.
  • Initiates regular on the job training as well as behavioral and skills enhancement programs for his team.
  • Oversees the supply chain process. Conduct periodical warehouse inspection in ensuring accuracy of inventory, stock control maintenance and delivery timeliness. This includes identification of areas where warehouse work processes and practices could be improved.
  • Provide guidance and strong leadership on operation work flow efficiency i.e. day to day administrative requirements such as purchases, orders, invoices, credit and debit notes are issued accurately and timely
  • Takes an active interest in trends/opportunities within the industry and makes recommendations to leverage on opportunities and to mitigate risks. This is achieved through regular market visitations and having a strong business working relationship with both Principals and key customers.
  • Measures and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant Key Performance Indicators.
  • Leads all internal and external meetings.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: - Diploma or Degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 10- 15 years’ experience in a leadership role within a FMCG Business environment (preferable in the Alcohol industry)
  • Ambitious personality with strong drive

  • Confident at communicating clearly and effectively.

  • Fluent in both written and oral English and a good command of spoken Mandarin and other major Chinese dialects
