Executive Housekeeper
Job Responsibilities:
- To manage and coordinate the operations of the Housekeeping Department covering rooms, public areas and landscape.
- Hire, train, supervise, organize, motivates, discipline and counsel employees.
- Ascertain the housekeeping operations run smoothly and effectively in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
- Emphasis on service and room standards, staff development, cost control, hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel.
- Have excellent knowledge of hotel linen, amenities and management of inventory.
- Must have good knowledge of chemical cleaning and sanitisation methods in compliance with international safety measures.
- Well versed with housekeeping inventories, equipment and chemicals usage
- Manage all administrative works efficiently.
- A team player and able to work under pressure.
Requirements:
- Possess Diploma in Hotel Management or Higher
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Meticulous, discipline and good work conduct
- Good command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Must be effective in communications, as this role oversees a staff of at least 100, across multiple nationalities, cultures and languages
