Executive Housekeeper

Job Responsibilities:

  • To manage and coordinate the operations of the Housekeeping Department covering rooms, public areas and landscape.
  • Hire, train, supervise, organize, motivates, discipline and counsel employees.
  • Ascertain the housekeeping operations run smoothly and effectively in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
  • Emphasis on service and room standards, staff development, cost control, hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel.
  • Have excellent knowledge of hotel linen, amenities and management of inventory.
  • Must have good knowledge of chemical cleaning and sanitisation methods in compliance with international safety measures.
  • Well versed with housekeeping inventories, equipment and chemicals usage
  • Manage all administrative works efficiently.
  • A team player and able to work under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Possess Diploma in Hotel Management or Higher
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Meticulous, discipline and good work conduct
  • Good command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Must be effective in communications, as this role oversees a staff of at least 100, across multiple nationalities, cultures and languages
