- To carry out all the necessary Contract administration works.
- Help perform quantity measurement activities.
- Help prepare indents and quotation documents.
- Help manage the appointment of consultants such as Architects, Material Surveyors, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
- Help review the feasibility study report.
- Help check the list of quantities (BQ) prepared by the material measurement consultant.
- Help review the tender documents prepared by the consultant.
- Help manage briefings to tenderers during site visits.
- Help review the tender evaluation report prepared by the consultant.
- Participate in on-site job evaluation activities.
- Help check the interim payment certificate provided by the consultant.
- Help manage Work Change (V.O) meetings.
- Help review work change documents "KPK, APK, PHK".
- Help check the final payment certificate prepared by consultant.
- Help review payment claims from consultants.
- Assist in preparing copies of tender documents, tender evaluation reports and quantity lists for indent works.
- Help manage contract administration, insurance, work changes (v.o) and monitor current work status.
- Updating the status of interim payments to contractors.
- Participate and monitor assessment activities on site with consultants and contractors.
- Help provide relevant information for the preparation of paperwork by the management.
- To ensure Payment Certificates to contractors are issued in a timely manner and ensure all the certified quantities are correct and is within the budget.
- To check / assess the Progress Claims and Variation Order Claims submitted by Contractors as well as verifying and obtaining approval within a required time frame.
- To monitor, prepare / check Final Account based on work done on site.
- To ensure timely evaluation of quotation and awards to the respective contractors.
- To assist in calling tender / quotation process.
- To prepare the Letter of Award .
- To perform tasks directed by superiors from time to time.
Qualification & Requirements
- Possess a minimum of Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience from related industry field.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- A team player with proactive disciplined, good organizing skills and able to work under pressure.
- Basic communication & writing skills including English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft offices, email correspondences, internet browsers, etc.
- Pleasant personality, confident, independent, responsible, self-motivated, outgoing and responsive that able to communicate & present well with any level of people and work as a team.
