RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively pursue local and regional businesses and corporations for the purpose of securing future incentive groups. Stay in close personal contact with travel agents in order to capitalize on the agents ability to recommend business to the park;
  • To promote and produce business for the park and Sunway Group Of Companies as deemed necessary;
  • To generate new and return tour group via sales calls, telemarketing, FAM trips, trade shows and written correspondence business;
  • To build and maintain strong rapport with Tourism Malaysia;
  • To work closely with the Hotel and Catering Department to accommodate guests events and planning needs;
  • To generate incremental profitable sales revenues consistent or in regards to budget from groups including social markets, meetings, corporate groups and associations;
  • To coordinate exhibition set-up and represent the park at local or international trade shows to the best advantage;
  • To establish key relationships with travel agents;
  • To track and report tours visitor ship and sales revenue;
  • To engage agents and share key attraction updates about the park on a regular basis;
  • To provide consistent feedback to immediate superiors on the changing market trend of their own area of coverage;
  • Managing all the sales related activity of the company;
  • Effectively communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner;
  • Accurately analyzing and assessing statistical data.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree / Business Studies / Administration / Management / Marketing or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years working experience of similar roles;
  • A team player with high degree of honesty and integrity;
  • Able to start immediately is an added advantage;
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Competencies in writing and communicating in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarln and other languages would be an added advantage;
  • Highly disciplined with a positive work attitude and able to work under tight deadlines, minimal supervision and able to produce maximum productivity;
  • Candidate must be willing to work long hours to support the business hours as and when required;
  • Applicants must be willing to work at our SALES OFFICE located in SUNWAY LAGOON THEME PARK, BANDAR SUNWAY, PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR, MALAYSIA
