Red Ant Technology Sdn Bhd (www.redant.my) is a bespoke software development company that specializes in creating customized web and mobile solutions for enterprises throughout Malaysia and Singapore, with deployments across the entire Asia-Pacific region. Our proprietary products include Leaf CRM (www.leaf.my) and ClaimNow (www.claim.my). We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The sales executive will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies to promote our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the software industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

This is a commission-based role. The advertised salary is basic, excluding commission.


What will you do.

  • Research and identify potential clients, and develop strategies to approach and engage them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand service offerings and reach.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, including preparing presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives. Attend industry events to promote the brand and make professional connections.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and sales performance. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Understanding of the software development industry and enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
