Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of a Brand and Communications Plan including strategy, goals, KPIs, budget, tactics, events, and key messaging.
  • Prepare and regularly update the Marketing Budget, working closely with Chief Development Officer to ensure targets are met and costs are efficiently controlled.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends impacting real estate market outlook and make effective recommendations on communication strategy surrounding them.
  • Working closely with sales team in communicating the hotel USPs to key target markets and prospects, as well as to internal audiences.
  • Monitor and conduct brand audit for all collaterals within the development and sales team to ensure consistency with corporate identity. To direct the revision and update on marketing collaterals as and when changes are necessary.
  • Develop media relations strategy and seek high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media in key target markets. Plan and coordinate all public relations activities, including media events, and familiarization visits, including follow-up and supervision of archiving of resulting coverage.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media. Proactively initiate collaborations with all designated PR agencies.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests. Create content for press releases, internal communications, and keynote presentations. Provide support to sales and development teams in writing speeches, preparing letters and drafting articles that are to be made public.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
  • Be the guardian of the guest database and ensure emails are sent out / distributed to clean audience segments, in line with global personal data protection legislation, in particular the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
  • Supervise the upkeep of development masterplan and all relevant profile materials including images and renderings, on all major mainstream and exclusive news outlets and channels, online and offline.
  • Directly responsible in planning and developing digital and social media strategies in targeting the right audiences with compelling and resonating messages, including promotions and track performance, organic and paid campaigns, and overseeing all agency liaisons.
  • Key Duties and Work Scope:

  • To assist in developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for current ongoing development projects. The strategic planning and approach of marketing effort and initiatives to be discussed and reviewed with Head of Department.
  • For new and upcoming development projects, Marketing Manager is responsible for the market research and conducting competitors’ study to understand the business landscape of the product, prior to official launch.
  • Presentation of all research findings and analysis to management and development teams, continuously review of latest updates on the market outlook and latest trends.
  • To prepare and execute the formation and revision of all marketing collaterals that are required by internal and external stakeholders – Brand & Communication team, translation team (for the target market and audiences), IT and marketing team on-site.
  • Planning and execution of advertising & promotional campaign with Advertising Agency.
  • Planning and execution of branding and PR exercise, in connection with the liaison between our organization and local and international media.
  • Work closely with the team in reviewing existing and creating new collateral (online & offline) that is conform with brand standards and visual guidelines, and work with 3rd party design agencies on specific projects that are in line with brand standards and guidelines; assist with final touch-up and creation of collateral designs as and when required.
  • Work with sales team closely to update own and partners’ websites and collaterals regularly.
  • Coordinate property events, including invitations of clients and prospects, internal event run organization, design and creation of collaterals, pre-/ during-/ and post-event communication to stakeholders and the public.
  • Directly responsible for social media activities and engagement to target audiences across traditional and new media. Coordinate with outside agency on PPC activities, including social media advertising, text ads, GDN, and any other form of online advertising.
  • Website content management and online image database maintenance, with particular importance on SEO best practices. App content management and regular updates, including liaison with designated agencies for content/development and security.
  • Manage all online B2C marketing activities, including CRM, (tactical, newsletters, greetings, and transactional emails), and any other direct to consumer digital activities, such as question and review responses.
