JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop new dessert and pastry recipes
  • Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with the establishment’s recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food items are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, following strict hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Comply with food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven with at least 2-3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Graduated with a Diploma in pastry & bakery will be an advantage
  • Strong culinary skills, with expertise in the specific section you will manage
  • Excellent knowledge of ingredients, food handling, food hygiene, food preparation and cooking procedures for a specific station
  • Ability to consistently maintain a high quality of all food items and standards of presentation for a specific station
  • Ability to maintain high levels of hygiene and order in work area including chiller and freezers.
  • Meticulous, keen attention to detail and creativity
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Basic customer service skills
  • Primarily based in Puncak Alam, but must be open to working outstation as needed by business requirements
