Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of software & hardware systems used in manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in CAM software for designing & creating tool paths
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements & design specifications.
  • Skilled in conducting Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis with the R&D team.
  • Hands-on experience with various manufacturing techniques, including CNC machining (3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis) & 3D metal printing.
  • Strong ability to manage projects & ensure timely delivery within short lead times.
  • Capable of managing a team & driving them towards successful project completion
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with different teams
  • Ability to perform other related duties as assigned by management
  • Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes & techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & 3D modeling software
  • Strong problem-solving skills for efficiently addressing & resolving manufacturing issues.

  • Education & Experience

  • Recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or any related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years & above working experience in manufacturing related environment.

    Responsibilities

  • To provide technical support for day to day operational issues.
  • To troubleshoot and resolve daily operational issues and yield loss contributors in a safe, timely and effective manner.
  • Able to use analytical methods and test to develop comprehensive understanding of manufacturing problems. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Need to participate or lead in multifunctional teams on process improvement and development projects.
  • To optimize manufacturing process to improve yield to reduce cost and cycle-time.
  • Able to use statistical tools, LEAN manufacturing techniques and develop new processes to improve product performance, manufacturability and product cost.
  • To address customer complaints by developing effective and robust solutions.
  • Develops process and quality documentation.
  • Self-starter, hands on manufacturing process engineer.
  • Ability to work independently and also in a team environment on long term projects.
  • Applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials to optimize robust manufacturing processes.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Performing test on systems for improving efficiency and accuracy for achieving a quality and cost effective production procedure successfully.
  • Managing the process design projects and ensuring their timely completion.
  • Improving the present production procedures to increase productivity, quality and revenues.

  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or Master in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar technical degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as a process or manufacturing engineer.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills, IT knowledge and must have the interest and burning desire to work in a highly dynamic and challenging manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge in LEAN manufacturing or Quality control system is a strong plus.
