Job Summary:

The Junior Business Analyst will support the design, development, and implementation of our solutions by gathering requirements, analysing data, and assisting in the creation of technical solutions. This role requires a blend of business analysis and technical skills to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of the business and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business requirements for our solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement within our solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, and technical design documents.
  • System Testing: Assist in the creation and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure that BIGPOS systems meet business requirements and function correctly.
  • Support Implementation: Provide support during the implementation of our solutions, including user training and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA teams, and other business analysts to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our solutions functionalities and performance.
  • User Support: Assist end-users with queries and issues related to our solutions and escalate complex problems to senior team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Min Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the IT or retail sectors. Experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes, familiarity with SQL and database management, and knowledge of POS hardware and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
